- Massport, which unveiled the Framingham remote terminal Monday, opened reservations for a June 1 start and allows booking from 90 days to 90 minutes before departure.
- At 19 Flutie Pass, eligible Delta and JetBlue passengers can check in, drop bags, clear TSA with PreCheck, and ride a secure $9 coach that arrives airside at Delta’s Gate A18 or JetBlue’s Gate C8.
- Buses seat 55 and run hourly from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the site offers about 400 parking spaces priced at $7 per day.
- TSA will staff the checkpoint under federally approved procedures, and the sealed trip keeps screened passengers and checked bags within the secure system until they reach the gate.
- The pilot runs through August with a budget of about $2.5 million from Logan ground-access fees, and Massport will consider adding locations such as Braintree, Danvers and Woburn if results are strong.
