LK Bennett Shuts Website After Final Online Sale

The shutdown signals a final clearance under the administrators’ wind-down.

Overview

  • LK Bennett closed its website following a last online-only sale that cut prices by at least 80% and by up to 90% on some items.
  • The label entered administration in January under joint administrators John Noon and Mark Firmin of Alvarez & Marsal.
  • US firm Gordon Brothers bought the brand and intellectual property, but nine stand-alone stores and 13 concessions were left out of the deal.
  • Remaining UK stores are holding closing-down sales with discounts of up to 75% as stock is cleared.
  • The website now states online and phone orders are closed and says existing customer orders will still be processed.
