Overview
- Liverpool officially opened the 'Forever Bound' memorial on Friday, May 29, 2026, placing a two-scarf stone sculpture by the Anfield Road Stand to replace the previous plaque.
- The sculpture is carved from Carrara marble, is inscribed with the names of all 39 people who died at Heysel in 1985, and was designed after consultation with supporters, former players and fan group Spirit of Shankly.
