Overview
- Live Fast Motorsports, which announced the deal Monday, will field Dye in the No. 78 Chevrolet at Talladega on April 26, Pocono on June 14, Daytona on August 29, and the fall Talladega race on October 25.
- Champion Container will serve as the primary sponsor for all four races, a backing that comes from Dye’s family company.
- NASCAR suspended Dye in March for mocking IndyCar driver David Malukas on a livestream and required sensitivity training, which he completed before being reinstated on March 31.
- Following reinstatement, Dye left his full-time Kaulig Racing Truck ride, and Corey LaJoie took over the team’s No. 10 entry.
- Dye returned to competition with a runner-up ARCA finish at Kansas, and his superspeedway-heavy slate offers drafting-driven chances for a small team but a short window that will put results and conduct under close watch.
