Lionspeed GP swept Saturday qualifying to start first for both one-hour GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup races at Brands Hatch in its Pro-class Sprint debut.
In Q1, Ricardo Feller set a 1:22.722 in the No. 80 Porsche to beat AF Corse’s Arthur Leclerc, who logged a 1:22.971, with WRT’s Silver-class BMW next.
Bastian Buus led Q2 with a 1:22.676, as Chris Lulham put the Verstappen Racing Mercedes alongside and Max Hesse lined up third for WRT’s No. 46 BMW after a late red flag.
Practice pace did not translate for several favorites, with Dani Juncadella topping FP2 at 1:22.932 and reigning champion Charles Weerts leading FP1 at 1:23.260 before qualifying only 12th.
