Overview
- The band announced the film on Aug. 4 and said Unshatter will open worldwide in cinemas on Sept. 30 with tickets going on sale Aug. 13.
- Unshatter will play in 2D, ScreenX and 4DX formats and is a co-production with CJ 4DPlex and Trafalgar.
- A companion live soundtrack, Unshatter (Live From São Paulo), is scheduled for release on Sept. 25 and will include performances not featured in the film.
- Directed by Linkin Park turntablist Joe Hahn, the documentary uses archival footage, studio sessions from 2022 and 2024 São Paulo concert film to trace the band’s return after Chester Bennington’s 2017 death.
- The film foregrounds the band’s reformation with vocalist Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain and is likely to renew public debate over legacy, fan reaction and how established acts rebuild after a loss.
