Lincoln Mageo Commits to Michigan's 2027 Offensive Line

Mageo announced his commitment to Michigan on Saturday, choosing the Wolverines over finalists Washington and Utah.
The Oceanside, California prospect is a 6-foot-4, roughly 280–285-pound interior lineman who was named a Polynesian Bowl all-star and drew more than 20 Division I offers.
Mageo visited Ann Arbor in April, returned for an official visit the weekend of June 5, and held an in-home meeting with new offensive line coach Jim Harding that helped shape his choice.
Scouts project Mageo as a power-oriented interior blocker who excels as a drive blocker in the run game, with 247Sports listing him in its composite rankings in the 300–400 range and describing him as a P4 projection who still needs to add bend and lower-body fluidity.
His commitment is Michigan's fourth offensive-line pledge for 2027 — joining Jakari Lipsey, Sidney Rouleau and Louis Esposito — and it modestly improves the class's depth and momentum as the staff continues to prioritize interior line rebuilding.
