  • Sales are restricted to specific ticket machines and S-Bahn or DB customer centers, plus some BRB outlets, with no online purchase available.
  • MVV spokesperson Sonja Schneider says a digital version is not planned, keeping distribution offline-only.
  • Buyers can purchase from DB Regio conductors for a €2 surcharge, and many need a separate local MVV fare to reach Munich Hauptbahnhof to access sales points.
  • The expanded network now reaches Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the foot of the Zugspitze, enabling travel to five areas; MVV lists an adult €76 Garmisch Classic price that includes transport.
