Lima Water Cuts Roll Out Feb. 9–11 With 12-Hour Shutdown Set for Lima Cercado

The utility says the staggered suspensions support reservoir cleaning and pipe connections, with hotlines and maps available to check sectors and collection points.

Overview

  • On Tuesday, Feb. 10, Los Olivos will lose service from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for reservoir cleaning, and Villa María del Triunfo from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a pipe connection.
  • On Wednesday, Feb. 11, Lima Cercado faces a 12-hour suspension from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. due to a pipeline tie-in in Sector 31.
  • On Monday, Feb. 9, Comas was scheduled for up to a 10-hour cut between 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. for reservoir cleaning.
  • Sedapal directs users to Aquafono (01) 317-8000 and an interactive map to verify sectors and restoration times, and reports more than 100 collection points available in Lima during the works.
  • Separate from the water cuts, electricity distributors Hidrandina, EPEC and SEAL set maintenance outages between Feb. 10 and 13 in regions including La Libertad, Áncash, Cajamarca, Córdoba and Arequipa.
