Lima Tax Authority Launches Tax-Payment Drive With Feb. 27 Deadline and 0 km Pickup Raffle

The campaign targets 289,735 Cercado de Lima taxpayers, steering them to fully digital consultation and payment options.

Overview

  • Residents who pay the first installment or the full 2026 amount for property tax, vehicle tax and municipal fees by Feb. 27 are automatically entered in the drawings.
  • Prizes include a new pickup truck plus S/1,000 and S/500 gift cards, 75-inch Smart TVs and S/100 fuel vouchers, with sponsorship from Yape.
  • Payments can be made via the SAT website and Agencia Virtual, through Yape’s Yapear Servicios by searching SAT-Lima, or on platforms from BCP, BBVA, Banbif, Scotiabank, Interbank, Western Union, Caja Metropolitana and Caja Arequipa.
  • Taxpayers can confirm exact balances in the downloadable “cuadernillo tributario” available through the SAT Virtual Agency before paying.
  • SAT cites 116,660 property and municipal-fee accounts and 173,075 vehicle owners, noting the vehicle tax applies for three years after first registration in Sunarp.
