- Divers with the Cherokee County Fire Department recovered a body at approximately 11:53 a.m. on Feb. 6 from a pond in Mayfield Park near Smith’s Milton residence.
- Nathan Smith, known professionally as DJ Young Slade, was reported missing on Feb. 3 after leaving home on foot without his phone under what police called unusual circumstances and possibly disoriented.
- Milton police say the individual is believed to be Smith pending Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmation, and the case remains open despite no indication of foul play to date.
