Lies of P: Complete Edition Hits Switch 2 as Patch 1.13 Adds 60fps Handheld Mode

The update targets performance and stability issues on Nintendo's new console while the studio signals it will focus on a sequel rather than more expansions.

Overview

  • Round8 Studio released patch 1.13 this week to coincide with the digital launch of Lies of P: Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 and the Epic Games Store.
  • The update adds a third Handheld graphics option that supports up to 60 frames per second and renames the previous Performance-centered preset to Balanced.
  • Players can now toggle Motion Blur in Settings → Gameplay for TV Mode on Switch 2, and the patch fixes a Quality-mode resolution bug that lowered internal resolution in earlier builds.
  • Patch 1.13 also fixes multiple crash and stability issues and includes platform-specific corrections such as an Xbox Win64 fix for AMD Adrenalin’s FSR 4 Override.
  • The developer warns against using unofficial software and advises installing the base game and all update data on the same storage device, confirms a physical release later this year, and says future work will prioritize a sequel over new expansions.
