Li Auto Launches All-New L9, Overseas Version Coming in Q3

The flagship leans on in-house chips with multi-LiDAR to pitch a tech lead beyond a softer home market.

Overview

  • Li Auto began delivering the new L9 in China in two trims, with the Ultra listed at RMB459,800 and the Livis at RMB509,800, and launch incentives cutting effective prices.
  • The powertrain pairs a 72.7 kWh CATL battery with a third-generation range extender for a claimed 420 km electric range and 1,650 km combined range.
  • The Livis trim adds 800V active suspension, steer-by-wire, electromechanical braking, and four-wheel steering to improve ride control and reduce the turning circle.
  • Li says two self-developed 5 nm M100 chips and four LiDAR sensors deliver 2,560 TOPS of compute to run advanced driving features while reducing reliance on outside chip suppliers.
  • An International Exclusive Version starts rolling out from Q3 2026 in Central Asia and the Middle East with localized charging, apps, maps, and infotainment, as the company pushes exports after slower early-2026 sales in China.
