Overview
- Lepas disclosed on Thursday that pre-orders for the L8 will open in July and first customer deliveries are due from September.
- The L8 launches in two trims, Essence from £34,900 and Elevate from £37,900, with standard kit including a panoramic sunroof, 13.2‑inch infotainment screen and advanced driver‑assist systems.
- Both versions use Lepas’s Super Hybrid System combining a 1.5‑litre turbo petrol engine, a dedicated hybrid transmission and an 18.4kWh battery, and the company claims up to 56 miles electric range and up to 745 miles combined range.
- Lepas will back every car with a seven‑year/100,000‑mile vehicle warranty, an eight‑year/100,000‑mile battery warranty and up to seven years of RAC roadside assistance while naming AM100 groups such as Arnold Clark, Park’s and Evans Halshaw as launch dealers.
- The L8 is the first model in Lepas’s UK push and the company plans a fully electric L8 in 2027 as part of a staged move from plug‑in hybrids to battery EVs.
