LEGO and Pokémon Open Fan Vote on Five TCG‑Style Card Builds

Public voting will feed the LEGO Review Board’s selection, with the winning creator eligible for credit and a share of sales if the design is produced.

Overview

  • The five finalist builds were posted and voting opened May 28, with fans able to cast votes on the LEGO Ideas site through June 11.
  • The finalists are A Mew Soaring High, Rowlet Razor Leaf, Joltik Charges Up!, The Mythical Arceus, and Gyarados: Sunset Splash.
  • Fan voting is an input to LEGO’s final decision, which will be made by the LEGO Review Board and could produce a winner announced by February 4, 2027.
  • Each finalist includes detailed builder notes and piece counts — for example, Arceus is a 999‑piece model and Gyarados is a 1,262‑piece build that took weeks — and the eventual creator would receive credit and 1% of net sales if the set is produced while other entrants receive participation sets.
  • The contest builds on LEGO and The Pokémon Company’s earlier 2026 releases such as Pikachu, Eevee and a 6,838‑piece Kanto set and signals a continued push to expand official Pokémon LEGO products via fan-driven designs.
