Laura Adler, Emmy-Nominated Casting Director and Casting Society Leader, Dies at 65

  • She earned a 2003 Emmy nomination for NBC’s American Dreams and worked on Dream On, Better Off Ted and The Goode Family.

  • She later served as the Casting Society’s administrator from 2014 until her 2024 retirement and was recently announced to receive the Rosalie Joseph Humanitarian Award at the Feb. 26 Artios Awards.
  • Survivors include sisters Alisa, Emily and Amy Adler and nephew Joe Adler; her father, actor Jerry Adler, died in August at 96, and a memorial service will be announced.
