Overview

  • Released on March 15, the video features the First Presidency testifying of Jesus Christ and asking members to invite friends, family, and neighbors to Palm Sunday worship in local chapels.
  • Local congregations will hold a one-hour sacrament meeting on March 29 instead of the usual two-hour block.
  • The presidency also invited participation in the 196th Annual General Conference on April 4–5, which will include four general sessions and a solemn assembly.
  • During the solemn assembly, President Dallin H. Oaks will be sustained as church president, marking the first sustaining of this First Presidency since President Russell M. Nelson’s death.
  • Presidents Oaks, Henry B. Eyring, and D. Todd Christofferson stressed Christ’s atoning sacrifice, Resurrection, and Heavenly Father’s love, following a Feb. 22 Easter message inviting all to “seek this Jesus.”
