Overview
- In late March a 33-year-old e-scooter rider, identified by the medical examiner as Christian Lira, was struck and killed near Hoover and 75th in South Los Angeles.
- LAPD on August 11–12 released security camera footage showing the suspect vehicle hitting Lira, then reversing and driving forward over him multiple times, according to detectives.
