Lanka Premier League Confirms Five-Franchise Lineup, Names New Owners for Season 6

Season 6 will feature five teams in July–August 2026 under Sri Lanka Cricket with IPG as the event partner.
The Kandy franchise is expected to be owned by Sandhya and Kavya Ajjarapu, subject to league approval and closing conditions.
SC Jaffna Kings will come under Sports Commune FZC led by Manjot Kalra and Mayank Goel.
Colombo Kaps will be led by Witness Sports Alliance LLC headed by Saranyan Palaniswamy and K. C. Shyam Kangayan, while Dambulla Sixers and Galle Gallants remain with Desilva Holdings and Gallant Sports and Media LLC.
urban-gro says it will handle media, sponsorships, and on-site activations through IPG and Flash and that it does not control the league or any franchise.
