- According to the filing, Ball entered a rental agreement in December 2020, agreed to buy one unit in May 2024 and continued to sublease the second unit to Jackson.
- Agape Property Management Group previously brought a separate action that named only Jackson and was dismissed on June 3 after Jackson’s attorney cited maintenance and mold issues as reasons for withheld payments.
- No representatives for Ball, Jackson or Agape had commented as of the latest reports and the new suit is in an early stage where the landlord seeks monetary damages, possible eviction remedies and recovery of HOA fees.
