Lamborghini’s All-In-House Temerario GT3 Debuts at Sebring With Pfaff

The twin-turbo V8 racer was engineered alongside the road Temerario to anchor a limited customer rollout.

Overview

  • Pfaff Motorsports will field the #9 in GTD Pro at the Twelve Hours of Sebring with Andrea Caldarelli, Sandy Mitchell and Franck Perera in the team’s signature red-and-black plaid livery.
  • The Temerario is Lamborghini’s first GT3 designed, developed and produced entirely in-house, with assembly in a dedicated Sant’Agata area featuring five modular motorsport bays.
  • The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 shares development and an initial production line with the road car’s engine, marking a move away from the Huracán’s naturally aspirated V10.
  • Testing since last summer surpassed 15,000 km without major reliability issues, with development emphasizing drivability and operational efficiency for customer teams.
  • After its Sebring debut, the car will run a limited 2026 program across IMSA, GT World Challenge Europe and DTM, while some teams continue with the Huracán GT3 EVO2 due to the phased rollout.
