Lakers Move G League Affiliate to Coachella Valley, Rebrand for 2026-27

The move taps a bigger market with an 11,000-seat arena backed by regional partners.

  • The Lakers announced Thursday they will relocate their G League team to the Coachella Valley for the 2026-27 season and rename it the Coachella Valley Lakers, with home games at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert.
