Overview
- Matches begin July 10, four days before the July 14 opening ceremony, with group and quarterfinal play in New York, Columbus, Nashville, St. Louis, San Jose and San Diego, and semifinals and both gold-medal games at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
- San Diego’s Snapdragon Stadium will host the most matches with 11, including both bronze-medal games plus the men’s and women’s semifinals.
- Ticket registration for the first draw closes March 18, a local presale runs April 2–6, and the first general sale window is April 9–19, with more than five million fans already registered.
- The extended calendar adds two rest days per team compared with previous Olympics to ease recovery and travel.
- Baseball returns in 2028 as the Dominican Republic and Venezuela qualified via the 2026 World Baseball Classic to join host USA, with games scheduled July 13–19 at Dodger Stadium and three remaining spots to be decided in 2027–28.
