Overview
- LA28 unveiled the official visual identity Monday, introducing a floral "Superbloom" theme for the Olympics and Paralympics.
- The system centers on 13 graphic blooms and a palette drawn from Los Angeles’ Bird of Paradise, grouped into Poppy, Scarlet Flax, Bluebell and Sagebrush.
- Typography takes cues from LA street signage and hand-painted storefronts, and a grid reduces visual density near fields of play to help athletes stay focused.
- The look will appear on venues, signage, staff uniforms, credentials, digital platforms and broadcasts, with public displays beginning at Intuit Dome during a Clippers game.
- Developed with design studio Koto, the identity was released more than two years ahead of the Opening Ceremony to give venues, sponsors and broadcasters time to integrate it.
