Overview
- On Monday morning, the Union minister offered prayers at the Brundavanam during Sri Guru Vaibhavotsavams at the Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Mantralayam and received teertha prasadams from the pontiff.
- He arrived at Kurnool’s Orvakal airport on Sunday and was received by District Collector Dr A. Siri and Additional SP Hussain Peera.
- During the mutt events, he joined special poojas and the Rathotsavam and addressed devotees at the Yogindra Sabhamandapam, praising the institution’s service activities.
- The pontiff honoured him alongside former cricketer Venkatesh Prasad with the Raghavendra Anugraha Prashasti.
- He also visited Alampur’s Jogulamba Temple for special pooja rituals, and officials outlined progress on proposed industrial projects and ongoing development works.
