Kotak Mahindra Bank Q3 Profit Rises To ₹4,924 Crore On Higher Revenue

The lender plans to raise up to ₹15,000 crore via NCDs next year to support growth.

  • Consolidated revenue from operations rose 16% year on year to ₹27,851 crore, with sequential gains of 11.8% in revenue and 10.2% in profit.
  • Standalone net profit increased 4% to ₹3,446 crore as loan growth, fee income and insurance lifted performance, with the insurance business contributing over ₹7,170 crore to Q3 revenue.
  • Net Interest Income grew 5% to ₹7,565 crore while the net interest margin compressed to 4.54% from 4.93% a year earlier.
  • Asset quality strengthened with the gross NPA ratio at 1.30% and net NPA at 0.31%, and gross NPAs of ₹6,320 crore.
  • Total expenses climbed to ₹20,378 crore on higher employee costs and insurance-related liabilities, and the board approved raising up to ₹15,000 crore through NCDs in the next financial year.
