Korean Air Sets March 6 Opening for Revamped Flagship Lounge at LAX

The flagship space showcases Korean Air’s upgraded lounge model featuring an on-site kitchen with modern Korean design ahead of its Asiana integration.

Overview

  • Following a 22‑month, KRW 65 billion ($45–48 million) renovation by LTW Designworks, the two-level lounge reopens as the carrier’s largest overseas facility at 1,675 square meters.
  • A full on-site kitchen replaces pre-catered service to enable made-to-order dining, live cooking stations and a broader menu across lounge zones.
  • The upstairs First Class area features two private suites, à la carte dining and a full-service bar with premium beverages.
  • The Prestige and Miler sections introduce an open-kitchen concept, locally inspired drinks and QR-code ordering for select guests.
  • Access applies to eligible Korean Air premium travelers and SkyTeam First, Business and Elite Plus customers, with additional lounge updates including a renovated JFK location planned later in 2026.
