- Konami confirmed on Sunday, September 20 that a free demo for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will launch on October 1 and the full game will follow on October 15.
- The demo delivers the opening chapter but may block some features, and Konami warns that demo-to-full save transfer requires using the same platform and account and updating the full game to the latest version.
- The demo will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC with download sizes of roughly 3–6 GB and reported frame rates of 30fps on Switch and 60fps on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
- Belmont’s Curse is co-developed by Konami and Evil Empire with advisory help from Motion Twin, stars Rose Belmont, is set in Paris in 1499, and is presented as a 40th‑anniversary revival of the Castlevania series.
- The playable preview gives players a chance to test performance, save-transfer mechanics and streaming rules before launch, and it may influence platform choice or preorders because demo progress can continue into the retail release only on the same platform.
