- Kolkata Police arrested Harshvardhan Shaw on allegations he robbed a neighbour’s flat in Sarsuna’s Tower 3 while the family was away between January 19 and 23.
- Reports put the loss at over ₹1.5–2 crore in gold with about ₹26.5 lakh in cash, and police say they have recovered the electric saw, jewellery and most of the money.
