Škoda Reveals Peaq, a Seven‑Seat Flagship Electric SUV

Škoda is moving the brand upmarket by pairing long range, fast charging and premium seven‑seat packaging with a September sales launch.

Overview

  • Škoda revealed the Peaq on Tuesday, June 23, in a global premiere that published full dimensions, three battery/powertrain options and confirmed UK trim pricing.
  • The Peaq is a large three‑row EV about 4.9 m long with a 2.96 m wheelbase, a 37‑litre front trunk and up to 935 litres of boot space in five‑seat form.
  • Powertrain choices include 60, 90 and 90x variants with roughly 63–91 kWh NMC batteries, rear‑wheel and dual‑motor all‑wheel drive, and claimed ranges up to about 600–647 km depending on spec.
  • Škoda says fast charging can take the battery from 10–80% in about 27–28 minutes, and the Peaq adds premium features such as a 13.6‑inch Android infotainment screen, Sonos 3D audio, flush pop‑out door handles and optional AR HUD.
  • Sales will begin in September with confirmed UK entry pricing from about £51,980, regional rollouts and final local specs still to be announced and India availability under separate evaluation.
