Škoda Refreshes Enyaq and Elroq With LFP Base Models and Android Infotainment

The upgrades ship only on newly built cars starting this summer.

Overview

  • Škoda detailed model‑year 2027 updates for Enyaq and Elroq that apply only to new production, with deliveries planned for summer 2026 and no retrofit path for cars already on the road.
  • Entry versions Enyaq 60 and Elroq 60 switch to lithium‑iron‑phosphate batteries at 61 kWh gross (58 kWh usable) paired with a 140 kW motor and an electronic top speed limit of 160 km/h.
  • Models with the larger NMC “85” battery gain higher towing capacity, now 1.8 tonnes on all Elroq 85 variants, 2.0 tonnes on Enyaq 85/85x, and 2.2 tonnes on Enyaq RS.
  • RS trims receive a small downgrade to 77 kWh net capacity and 165 kW peak DC charging, with a quoted 10–80% recharge time of 29 minutes.
  • A new Android-based system adds a redesigned interface, an app store, Powerpass with charging‑provider filters, Vehicle‑to‑Load, a 21‑liter front storage bin, faster 25 W wireless phone charging, and added radars plus an interior camera for updated driver assists, while pricing remains undisclosed.
