Knott’s Berry Farm to Replace Johnny Rockets With Crafty’s Kitchen Opening Summer 2026

The new concept ties dining to in-park storytelling through Crafty Coyote.

Overview

  • The Johnny Rockets in Charleston Circle will close on April 15, shortly after the Boysenberry Festival, to begin the transformation.
  • Crafty’s Kitchen will take over the shuttered Beary Factory cafeteria on Memory Lane with décor drawn from the Knott’s Bear-y Tales backstory.
  • The menu will spotlight chicken tenders, crispy wings, a take on chicken and biscuits, fresh-cut or loaded fries, homemade pickles, and a range of dipping sauces.
  • Service will follow a slide-tray cafeteria format with staff in Crafty Coyote hats, and desserts will include boysenberry pie shakes made from pies baked daily.
  • Some coverage notes a recent bankruptcy filing by Johnny Rockets’ parent company as context, a link Knott’s has not presented as its stated reason for the change.
