Overview
- KLM will launch Asturias–Amsterdam on 29 March 2026 and Santiago–Amsterdam on 30 May, flying weekends until early July, daily from 4 July to 30 August, then weekends through 24 October.
- For Asturias services, departures are scheduled at 16:50 to Amsterdam with arrivals at 18:55, and returns leave Amsterdam at 14:10 arriving in Asturias at 16:20.
- The Santiago route is planned with Embraer 190 or 175 aircraft, with departures set for 16:40 from Lavacolla and 13:45 from Amsterdam.
- Tickets for the new routes went on sale immediately following the announcement.
- KLM’s entry adds competition to Vueling, which also serves Santiago–Amsterdam, while the Asturias–Amsterdam link—launched by Vueling in 2022 under regional aid—faces a new funding tender after the current support expires at the end of March 2026.
