- Klein ISD police arrested 26-year-old former aide James Theodor Broussard on a felony Injury to a Child charge after investigators say he unlawfully and intentionally caused bodily injury to a student in a self-contained special education classroom.
- The district says administrators notified police and the student’s family, conducted an immediate investigation, fired the aide, and cooperated with law enforcement leading to the arrest.
- Broussard is held in Harris County Jail on a $30,000 bond and prosecutors have asked the court to bar him from contacting minors, require him to stay away from the victim’s family, and ban him from possessing firearms.
