- The Jockey Club confirmed on Friday that the King and Queen will attend Betfred Derby Day at Epsom Downs on Saturday 6 June 2026.

- The visit falls on the same day as Peter Phillips’s wedding in the Cotswolds and reports say the couple are expected to attend the morning ceremony before travelling roughly 100 miles to Epsom in time for the afternoon race.
- The Betfred Derby is the 247th running of the race and is reported to be one of Britain’s richest Classics this year, offering about £2 million in prize money, while Charles and Camilla serve as joint patrons of The Jockey Club.
