Kia Targets Budget EV Buyers With Cut-Rate Leases for New EV2 and EV3 in Germany

New German EV incentives are lowering monthly lease prices for Kia's entry models.

Overview

  • Kia’s EV2 and EV3 are now featured in private lease offers in Germany, with an EV2 Air listed at 129 euros per month on sparneuwagen.de and an EV3 from 195.02 euros per month on LeasingMarkt.de.
  • EV3 deals are advertised as factory-order cars with pickup expected in July 2026, and registration is included in the listed offer.
  • Upfront costs remain sizable, as the EV2 offer adds a 1,490 euro delivery fee and a 4,000 euro down payment, while the EV3 requires a 3,000 euro subsidy down payment and about 1,390 euros in provision fees.
  • Both offers cite standard 36‑month contracts with a 5,000‑kilometre annual limit, and providers say mileage and term can be adjusted for an added cost.
  • The new Umweltbonus is treated as the down payment and is generally open to households with up to 80,000 euros in taxable income, while higher payouts and the revived THG credit of up to 300 euros per year can further trim effective costs.
