- District forecasts point to highs near 38°C in Kollam and Palakkad, about 37°C in Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kozhikode, and Kannur, and around 36°C in Thiruvananthapuram, Malappuram, and Kasaragod.
- KSDMA urged people to drink water often, avoid direct sun from 11 am to 3 pm, wear loose light-colored clothes, and seek shade if they feel dizzy or weak.
- Employers were asked to shift work hours so outdoor laborers can avoid peak heat, which can reduce the risk of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
- IMD expects isolated thunderstorms with lightning and winds of 30–40 km/h from Saturday through March 30 that could nudge temperatures down, and it noted no fishing restrictions today for Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep coasts.
