Kent Couple Killed After Car Leaves A228 and Crashes into Trees

Kent Police have renewed an appeal for dashcam, CCTV footage and witness information to determine how the vehicle left the road.

Overview

  • A silver Renault Megane left the carriageway on the A228 Pembury Northern Bypass and entered woodland before striking trees in the collision on May 18.
  • The driver, Craig Pangrazi-Simpson, 64, was declared dead at the scene and the passenger, Elizabeth Pangrazi-Simpson, 60, was airlifted to a London hospital where she later died.
  • Kent Police say no other vehicles have been publicly identified as involved and the force continues an open criminal investigation into how the car left the road.
