KEA to Release Karnataka DCET 2026 Round 1 Final Seat Allotment After 6 PM

Its release starts time-bound steps for candidates to confirm seats with the government still to provide the seat matrix and fee details.

Overview

  • Karnataka Examinations Authority is scheduled to publish the DCET 2026 Round 1 final seat allotment on the official counselling portal after 6 PM on Monday, July 27.
  • KEA opened option entry earlier on Monday at 11:00 am so candidates could register preferences before the allotment is published.
  • The authority has published post-allotment windows that begin July 28 for choice selection (July 28–31), challan download (July 28–August 1) and online fee payment (July 28–August 3).
  • KEA says the seat matrix and official fee details have not yet been received from the state government, which has left some registration details pending and prompted a staggered schedule.
  • Allotments are based on DCET rank, reservation rules, choices and eligibility, and candidates who receive a seat must complete fee payment, document verification and reporting within the stated deadlines to avoid cancellation.
