KCET 2026 Results Still Pending as KEA Awaits 24,250 Practical Marks

Publication is paused pending receipt of practical exam marks from the University of Agricultural Sciences.

Overview

  • KCET was conducted on April 23 and 24 and had about 3.3 lakh registered candidates awaiting results and rank cards.
  • KEA delayed the June 1 result publication because it is waiting for marks for roughly 24,250 students after the University of Agricultural Sciences rescheduled agriculture practicals.
  • The authority issued a provisional answer key on April 26 and accepted paid objections until April 30 as part of its routine review process.
  • KEA has published a video explaining its digital monitoring, encryption and automated evaluation steps to strengthen exam security, and Karnataka’s higher education minister M.C. Sudhakar said KCET results and counselling will proceed independently following the NEET controversy.
  • Final results, rank cards and counselling notices will be posted on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in and karresults.nic.in, and KEA uses a 50:50 weightage of KCET and qualifying exam marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics when assigning ranks so candidates should check and report any qualifying-mark discrepancies promptly.
