KATSEYE: Wild Hearts Documentary to Open in Theaters Aug. 12 Ahead of New EP

The limited cinema run is part of a coordinated rollout to drive fan engagement for the group's Aug. 14 EP and fall arena tour.

Overview

  • The film was announced this week and Trafalgar Releasing says KATSEYE: Wild Hearts will begin a limited global theatrical engagement on Aug. 12.
  • Tickets go on sale July 15 and the theatrical date is timed to lead into KATSEYE’s third EP, WILD, which is due Aug. 14.
  • Directed by Nadia Hallgren and produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures with HYBE x Geffen, the film promises never-before-seen footage, fan-submitted EYEKONS videos and intimate interviews with the members.
  • Coverage lists Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza and Yoonchae Jeung as participants but notes it is unclear whether on‑hiatus member Manon Bannerman appears in the documentary.
  • The theatrical event precedes the Wildworld arena tour, which is scheduled to launch Sept. 1 in Dublin, and aims to concentrate fan audiences in cinemas as part of a wider music-film-tour marketing push.
