Overview

  • Legge, announced Monday as the driver of the No. 11 Chevrolet for an AJ Foyt Racing–HMD Motorsports entry backed by e.l.f. Cosmetics, completes the traditional 33-car grid.
  • The 45-year-old Briton is targeting her fifth Indy 500 start, having set the fastest women’s qualifying mark in 2023 at 231.07 mph and posted a best race finish of 22nd in 2012.
  • The one-off program extends Foyt’s alliance with HMD from the INDY NXT feeder series, giving Legge a third Foyt car alongside Santino Ferrucci and rookie Caio Collet for May.
  • e.l.f. plans a full fan activation at Indianapolis Motor Speedway that includes a replica car, a showcase of Legge’s career artifacts, and on-site merchandise personalization.
  • This year’s field features 25 full-time drivers and eight Indy-only entries, with practice set for May 12–15, qualifying on May 16–17, and the race on May 24.
