Kala Ghoda Arts Festival Opens With Free Nine-Day Programme Across South Mumbai

The 26th edition themed “Ahead of the Curve” highlights scale, inclusion, free online sign-ups.

  • The festival runs January 31 to February 8, 10 am to 10 pm daily, across K. Dubash Marg, CSMVS, Cross Maidan, David Sassoon Library and Horniman Circle Garden.
  • Entry is free with registration via the official website linking to District, with all programmes open to the public.
  • Organisers list more than 400 programmes, over 100 installations and 15 curated verticals spanning music, theatre, literature, cinema, workshops and more.
  • Accessibility measures include touch-and-feel exhibits for the visually challenged, collapsible ramps for the physically challenged and interpreters for the hearing impaired.
  • The weekend also features the Mumbai Queer Pride March on January 31 from 3 pm to 6 pm at August Kranti Maidan, plus shows by Anubhav Singh Bassi and Hardik Tailor.
