Kagurabachi Anime to Premiere 20-Minute Episode Preview at Global Conventions

The convention screenings are designed to rally international fan interest before the series begins full broadcast in April 2027.

Overview

  • The Kagurabachi Anime World Tour will screen the first 20 minutes of Episode 1 at four conventions, beginning July 3 at Anime Expo in Los Angeles and continuing July 9 in Paris, August 1 in Mannheim, and August 22 in New York.
  • Selected stops will pair the preview with onstage panels that include lead actor Taihi Kimura and producer Koichi Yasuda to discuss production and behind-the-scenes work.
  • Production is led by CyberAgent’s Cypic studio with Tetsuya Takeuchi directing and Keigo Sasaki on character design, and the project is backed by a production committee that includes Shochiku and CyberAgent.
  • The anime’s full run is scheduled to start during the April 2027 broadcast season, but specific episode dates and international streaming partners have not been announced.
  • Kagurabachi’s manga has sold more than 4 million copies and is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, and organizers are using the preview tour to convert that global readership into viewership and to roll out further staff and distribution news.
