Kagurabachi Anime to Premiere 20-Minute Episode Preview at Four Global Conventions

CyberAgent is using a convention tour to build early international interest before the series begins broadcast in April 2027.

Overview

  • CyberAgent confirmed Wednesday that Part 1 of the Kagurabachi Anime World Tour will screen the first 20 minutes of Episode 1 at four conventions in summer 2026.
  • The preview stops are Anime Expo in Los Angeles (July 3), Japan Expo Paris (July 9), AnimagiC in Mannheim (August 1), and Anime NYC (August 22).
  • Cypic studio will produce the series with director Tetsuya Takeuchi, character designer Keigo Sasaki, and lead voice actor Taihi Kimura, and the production committee includes Shochiku and CyberAgent.
  • The full anime is scheduled to begin broadcast in April 2027 and lists partners such as MUSE and SMG HOLDINGS, but specific international streaming platforms and region-by-region release plans have not been announced.
  • The manga’s strong sales—about 4 million cumulative copies as of May 1—and existing English distribution via Viz Media and MANGA Plus underpin global anticipation and could shape future licensing and streaming deals.
