Overview
- Newly played CCTV includes audio of Ahmad Mulakhil asking the girl her age before walking with her toward the area of the alleged attack and later visiting a shop together.
- Witnesses told the court the child was petrified, said "he raped me," and reported threats that she would be raped again and taken away in a BMW to Birmingham and London.
- Prosecutors said Mulakhil’s DNA was found on the girl’s neck and inside her shorts, and indecent images and videos of her were recovered from his phone alongside images of the two defendants together.
- Mulakhil, 23, has pleaded guilty to one count of oral rape but denies two further rapes, two sexual assaults, child abduction and making indecent images; co‑defendant Mohammad Kabir, 24, denies attempted child abduction, intentional strangulation and an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence.
- Jurors also saw the complainant’s recorded interview describing being grabbed by the neck and struggling to breathe, while the defence has claimed she said she was 19 and cited language barriers in the encounters.
