- A jury found 26-year-old Dasan Warsaialem Brown guilty on Aug. 11, 2026, on nine counts that include attempted rape and attempted sexual penetration with a foreign object.
- The attack took place on April 26, 2025, on the 29 Sunset Muni bus when Brown approached a passenger, asked for the time, pulled her to the floor, strangled her and continued the assault after the driver ordered him to stop.
