Julio Zevallos Marks 45 Years With Autobiography and Tribute Gala in Lima

The milestone ties his four-decade career to Peru’s television and café-theater heritage.

  • Zevallos has released his first book, ¿Me dejo entender?, a 160-page autobiography that traces his life from childhood to the present.
  • He is celebrating with a gala on Thursday, November 27, at the Bianca convention center in Barranco featuring Ernesto Pimentel, Bartola, Carlos Vílchez, Pamela Franco and orchestra, Zaperoko and other performers.
  • The book is dedicated to his grandchildren and to his mentor Guillermo Rossini, with plans for a public homage during the festivities.
  • Businessman Mauricio Diez Canseco serves as the book’s padrino and joined Fernando Armas and Manolo Rojas at a press conference that included a tribute to Rossini.
