Journey Extends Farewell ‘Final Frontier’ Tour With 40 Fall Dates

Presales open Wednesday with general tickets Friday, giving fans two more months of farewell shows.

Overview

  • Journey, which unveiled the expansion Tuesday, added 40 North American dates running Sept. 12 in Los Angeles through a Nov. 28 hometown finale in San Francisco.
  • Tickets go on sale to the public Friday at 10 a.m. local time, with Citi cardmember presales starting Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time and a limited number of VIP packages available.
  • The band is playing without an opener, allowing longer headline sets that mix arena staples like “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Faithfully” with deep cuts and rarities.
  • Lineup outlook has also come into focus, as keyboardist Jonathan Cain says he plans to step away in 2027 and singer Arnel Pineda has rejected rumors of a Steve Perry reunion.
  • Reports of strain continue around the group, with Pineda telling Rolling Stone he tried to quit before the tour and Neal Schon disputing that account while the band keeps the farewell run on track.
