Jollibee to Open Market Street Restaurant in San Francisco on July 31

The long-delayed Market Street site cleared city noise and health approvals earlier in July, signaling renewed downtown activity and planned Bay Area expansion.

Jollibee, the Filipino fast-food chain, has been trying to open a restaurant in a former Payless ShoeSource at 934 Market St. for nearly six years. It finally has an opening date.
